Halloween!

I was a witch for Halloween. My dress had spider webby arms. Mommy sewed a sparkly jewel on my hat. And I wore green eyeshadow! I carried a cauldron to collect my candy.

Mommy became Little Dead Riding Hood again. She really likes to wear dead makeup because she's silly. Our first stop was the funeral home by our house. A funeral home is where dead people go so their living friends and family can say goodbye to them. I got to pick out candy from a casket. Spooky!

Daddy went as Tom. That means he didn't dress up this year.

We went trick or treating with my friend Lily. So fun! I weighed my candy when I got home. 1.4 pounds. Yummy!

Trick or Treat!

"Trick or Treat!" is what you say on Halloween when you want candy. I wish Trick Or Treat worked all the time. This year I was brave and went up to many houses. Last year I was more shy. I think it's because I'm six now.

For my school parade on Friday, I dressed as a Hindu princess. I wore my sari from Dee's wedding. I felt very sparkly in it.

For Halloween night, I went as a regular ballerina (I was a princess ballerina last year). I decided to use my blue bucket to hold my candy. I went trick or treating with my friends. Yay!



Mommy and Daddy let me eat a lot of candy that night. I went crazy.

Here is my loot! I couldn't get a photo of the candy I already ate since it was in my tummy and it's hard to get a camera in the stomach because eating it wouldn't taste good.

Boo! Boo! It's Halloween!

A couple days ago, it was Halloween. It's a silly day where people dress up in costumes and pretend to be all kinds of things. It seems like little kids like to be princesses and superheroes. And at night you go up to all sorts of houses and hold open a bag and ask for candy by saying "Trick or treat!" You cannot do this every night. There's only one special night a year you can do this. And it could very well be the very best night of the year. It's spooky too.

A couple days before Halloween, I went to my friend Kiely's house to carve a pumpkin. Then the next day I got another pumpkin from my school. I carved that one too! We roasted the seeds and ate them. So yummy!


On Halloween day, I had a parade at school. I was a ghost princess bride. Here I am with my friends J (she's dressed up as Belle) and X (she's a Tinkerbelle Fairy):

I had such a fun time. I got candy and toys and played with my friends. It was the best Halloween ever!
